Panerai Ferrari Scuderia Wall Clock
This is a custom wall display piece, designed for the Ferrari collector and Paneristi alike. We took the large dealer display wall clocks available only to Panerai official dealers and mounted them to a high-gloss carbonfiber wall plaque.
The clock itself is approximately 12" across and 3" tall. The sides are a chrome finished metal. The face of the clock has the same markings as a Panerai Ferrari Scuderia model watch. The hands are moved via a quartz clock (AA battery) and of course glow in the dark. The exact model and face may vary depending on inventory (please contact us directly if a specific model is desired).
The carbon fiber base is finished in a high gloss clear automotive paint, giving you a cosmetically perfect, deep 3-D look. Below the clock is your choice of the official "Ferrari" text (the actual OE trunk badge from a Ferrari F430) or the Prancing Horse shield (the actual OE fender shield from a Ferrari F430). The edges of the carbon plaque are painted Rosso Corsa red while the back is finished in suede with a wall mounted hanging bracket. You may also choose at check-out to have the lower text/shield replaced with your custom text (polished metal lettering) with your name, or the city of the time you wish to track.
We have only one of this model available, it is not something that was ever offered for sale to the general public and given the collectability of Panerai watches, this should prove to be a highly collectible piece.
Panerai was founded in 1860 in Florence by Giovanni Panerai and became the official supplier to the Royal Italian Navy by expandeing to building precision instruments. The company is famous for its Radiomir and Luminor watches, notable for their use by Italian Commando Frogmen, who relied upon their Panerai wristwatches to execute the sinking of naval vessels in WWII.
When the contract between Girard-Perregaux and Ferrari expired in 2006, a new partnership was signed with Panerai to develop, manufacture and distribute watches under the Ferrari trademark, making them the official timekeeper of Ferrari. A New York representative for the watch company has called Panerai the official timekeeper to Ferrari. These special edition wristwatches are divided into two collections: Granturismo and Scuderia.
